Whether it's in the school, hospital, home or community, OTs empower people to lead productive and meaningful lives by helping them achieve independence in all areas of their lives.

For those that have never worked with an Occupational Therapist, it would be sensible to assume that we help adults who are experiencing work-based difficulties, hence the word "occupation" in our title. Although, there are many OTs that do spend their careers aiding individuals in the process of acquiring a job or returning to a job that one values, my focus as an OT is slightly different.
