What do Fine Motor issues look like?

  • Messy or illegible handwriting/printing

  • Inability to form, space or organize letters or numbers

  • Difficulty fastening buttons, zippers, clips or tying laces

  • Difficulty targeting buttons on technology (ex. typing or navigating an iPad)

  • Poor hand strength when carrying heavy items or opening doors and drawers

  • Difficulty using utensils when eating (ex. keeping food on fork or targeting mouth to eat)
